Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at 4K on Xbox Series X – Ubisoft Confirmed

The action-adventure game series Assassin’s Creed is coming up with another action role-playing video game known as Valhalla by the fourth quarter of 2020. In the last week’s Inside Xbox episode, this action-adventure game has been called the biggest game showcased so far by Ubisoft.

Although some of the Assassin’s Creed fans are complaining about the lack of proper gameplay, the developers are focused squarely on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X next-generation console. So, the gamers are expecting great adventure and action from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed gameplay.

However, the Xbox listing of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla doesn’t mention a ray tracing of 60 frames per second tags on the website yet. That’s why some of the gamers were thinking that it might be limited to 30 frames per second. And even with the mighty 12 TFLOPs Xbox Series X and Microsoft console, they might have to play the game with limited ray tracing.

When Ubisoft was contacted by the Portuguese branch of Eurogamer regarding this speculation, they confirmed that they have always been committed to exploring new technologies and taking advantage of the capabilities of new consoles to deliver the most immersive experience possible for their fans. That’s why they were excited to collaborate with Microsoft to bring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the Xbox Series X.

From the statement, the Assassin’s Creed fans are hopeful that a higher frame rate option could be available in the full game, even if not coupled with 4K resolution. It is also possible that Ubisoft could simply add an ‘unlocked’ frame rate option since the Xbox Series X supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). Since there are several HDMI VRR enabled TVs and displays available in the market, the gamers will experience smoother gameplay even if Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can’t get a proper 60 frames per second implementation.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Xbox Series X

From the updates received till date, it’s confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at least 30 FPS and it will be equipped with faster loading times, allowing players to immerse themselves in a great gaming adventure without any issue.

Moreover, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from improved graphics made possible by the Xbox Series X, and hopefully, we’ll be seeing amazing gameplay in stunning 4K resolution. More features are expected to reveal soon.
